STORY BOARD

This storyboard showcases the user journey within "VeeForce", an app designed to empower communities through workshops. It begins with a welcoming screen offering options to sign up or log in. Once logged in, users are greeted on a personalized dashboard with access to ongoing projects, community sections, and navigation icons for invitations, workshops, and feedback. Users can choose to create an online or offline workshop by filling out key details like the title, poster, date, time, platform, facilitator information, agenda, and materials. Offline workshops also include a location field. After finalizing the setup, a confirmation screen notifies users of successful workshop creation, with an option to share it.

The app also enables users to send workshop invitations to communities and provides a confirmation message once invitations are sent. Additionally, it includes a feedback section where users can rate workshops, leave reviews, and suggest improvements. A final thank-you screen acknowledges user feedback, enhancing engagement. Overall, VeeForce offers a streamlined and user-friendly process for creating workshops, managing invitations, and gathering valuable feedback.

VeeForce Background

The name VeeForce represents a combination of strength, vision, and purpose aimed at creating positive change. “Vee” symbolizes success, innovation, and forward-thinking, while “Force” represents energy and collaboration. The name reflects the app’s mission to help elderly individuals understand and use technology with the support of volunteers and the community. VeeForce is designed to build confidence, encourage learning, and ensure seniors feel supported in the digital world.

VeeForce is more than just an app; it is a movement to foster meaningful connections and uplift communities. It brings volunteers and seniors together to share knowledge and experiences. With its simple, user-friendly approach and strong emphasis on collaboration, VeeForce helps seniors acquire new skills and stay engaged in an increasingly advanced world.

Wire frames (Figma)

The design requirements derived from the user persona and HTA are integrated into the wireframes by focusing on simplicity, accessibility, and alignment with user tasks. For example, the wireframes feature a structured "Create Workshop" page that guides organizers through defining topics, logistics, and publishing, reflecting tasks 1.1–1.3 from the HTA. Accessibility tools, such as large fonts, clear images, and intuitive navigation, address the needs of elderly participants. Additionally, a scheduling interface simplifies session coordination by allowing users to input availability and preferences, fulfilling tasks 3.1–3.3. An integrated feedback form and content hub ensure participants can easily access instructional materials and provide feedback, supporting tasks 4 and 5.

Our finalized clickable prototype integrates the design requirements and HTA tasks into a user-friendly and accessible interface tailored to elderly participants and workshop organizers. Key features include an intuitive "Create Workshop" page with guided forms, a centralized learning hub offering instructional content in multiple accessible formats, and an interactive scheduling tool for managing session preferences. Feedback collection is streamlined with easy-to-use forms, while automated notifications ensure smooth communication. The prototype has been tested for functionality, ensuring seamless navigation, responsiveness, and an engaging experience that effectively supports workshops and enhances digital literacy.
