INTRODUCTION This usability test was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction of volunteers interacting with our digital platform designed to create workshops for elderly community members. The primary goal was to identify pain points and areas for improvement, ensuring the platform meets the needs of volunteers who plan and manage these workshops. Key concepts assessed include “Task Success” (users’ ability to complete specific tasks without errors), “Time on Task” (the time taken to complete a task), and overall user satisfaction with the interface . The findings from this usability test will guide improvements to optimize user experience and accessibility. METHODS & PROCEDURES Participants : The test involved 3 participants, all volunteers aged 21 and above with varying levels of technical proficiency. STORY BOARD This storyboard showcases the user journey within "VeeForce" , an app designed to empower communities through workshops. It begins with a welcoming screen offering options to sign up or log in. Once logged in, users are greeted on a personalized dashboard with access to ongoing projects, community sections, and navigation icons for invitations, workshops, and feedback. Users can choose to create an online or offline workshop by filling out key details like the title, poster, date, time, platform, facilitator information, agenda, and materials. Offline workshops also include a location field. After finalizing the setup, a confirmation screen notifies users of successful workshop creation, with an option to share it. The app also enables users to send workshop invitations to communities and provides a confirmation message once invitations are sent.   PROBLEM STATEMENT        As technology becomes integral to daily life, many elderly individuals face significant barriers in accessing and understanding it, leaving them vulnerable to online scams, fraud, and financial exploitation.  The lack of digital literacy can lead to financial losses, identity theft, and difficulties navigating online payment systems, which are increasingly replacing cash.  Furthermore, the shift of essential services like healthcare, banking, and government support to online platforms exacerbates these challenges, potentially jeopardizing their well-being and independence.  Addressing these barriers through education and support can empower elderly individuals to use technology safely and confidently, improving their quality of life and helping them stay connected in an increasingly digital world.
